Surf Fishing Still Good

Friday, November 6th, 2009

There are still Whiting being caught on sand fleas.  Small flounder on shrimp with a flounder rig.  Blues come through from time to time also.  Trout are picking up in the surf.  The mullet were out about 200 yards from the surf, making a great acrobatic show with pods of Dolphin.  The water was flat and the surf was only about 2 1/2 feet.  Not a cloud in the sky.  Great day to just fish, watch wildlife and get a few in the cooler.
